Masjid Al-Furqan Expansion Appeal – £1,000,000 Target Masjid Al-Furqan in Manchester urgently needs to build an additional floor to serve the rapidly growing needs of the community. Every week the masjid is filled beyond capacity, and the current space is no longer sufficient to support the worshippers, students, and families who rely on it. This new floor will allow the masjid to create over 700 additional prayer spaces, ensuring that more people can pray comfortably, especially during Jumu‘ah, Ramadan, and busy congregational times. It will also include a lift for disabled access, allowing elderly worshippers and those with mobility needs to access the masjid with dignity. In addition, the expansion will provide new classrooms for the madrassah and a multi-purpose community hall where educational programmes, youth activities, and community events can take place. This project is essential for the future of the masjid and the next generation of Muslims in Manchester. The total amount required is £1,000,000, and we need the entire community to come together to make this possible. Supporting the expansion of a masjid is a form of Sadaqah Jariyah, a continuous charity that brings reward long after the donation is made. Every prayer performed, every child educated, and every good deed that takes place in this space will carry reward for those who helped build it.
